Metal Gear Movie Announcement

In association with Columbia Pictures, Konami has announced at Metal Gear 25th Anniversary event that there will be a Metal Gear movie.  Avi Arad who was affiliated with films such as "X-Men", "Iron-Man", and "The Amazing Spider-Man" will produce the movie.

Emma Stone Willing To Die In Spider-Man 2!

Emma Stone is willing to let her character Gwen Stacy die in order to stay true to the Spider-Man comic books.  It amazes me that she would be willing to do that for the fans of Spider-Man but will director Marc Webb and the writers be willing to lose such an important character.  If they do decide to kill her will it be the neck break in the comics or will it be more "children friendly"?

Hugh Laurie is out but Clive Owen could be in to play the villain in MGM's 'RoboCop' remake.  MGM's studios plans on shooting in September and 'RoboCop' is set to be released August 9, 2013.  The cast already consist of Samuel L. Jackson, Gary Oldman, Jay Baruchel, Jackie Earle Haley and Joel Kinnaman

Robert Downey Jr. Injured on 'Iron Man 3' set

In Wilmington, NC Robert Downey Jr. received an ankle jury while on the set for Iron Man 3 during an important scene for the movie.  This has caused the production to come to a delay but the movie still plans on being released May 3, 2013.

KICK ASS 2 Release Date & Casting News

KICK ASS 2 finally gets a release date from Universal Pictures.  June 28, 2013; the movie will have most of the main characters as well as some knew ones.  Morris Chestnut will play hit-girl's new guardian, after the unfortunate death of her father and Robert Emms will be cast as Insect Man.

• First Contact Suit: This unique EVA (Extra-Vehicular Activity) suit was built by the SCAF (Sovereign Colonies Armed Forces) for encounters with "foreign entities.” It sports a flamboyant golden finish to provide protection from long-term space exposure and thick armor for… unspecified reasons. The suit was given the nickname "First Contact" by the scientists who made it.
• Negotiator Weapon: While technically classified by the SCAF as a "scientific instrument,” the gold-plated "Negotiator" is loaded with some surprisingly aggressive hardware. The overclocked, top-mounted Tesla Beam is capable of bursting a man-sized organism into several pieces with a single shot. The bottom-mounted Linegun appears to have been built with the sole purpose of cleanly dismembering organic tissue from a distance.

”Witness the Truth” Bundle

• Witness Suit: These insulated suits were worn by a SCAF deep dig team assigned to exhume the darkest secrets of Tau Volantis. Whatever they found locked deep in the ice changed them forever. When they emerged weeks later, they were covered head to toe in strange graffiti and claimed to be "Witnesses to the Truth.”
• Evangelizer Weapon: A modification of the standard AL-2 used by the Sovereign Colonies Legionaries, this version sports a souped-up AL-2g assault rifle on the top with an Emerson 2100 "Big Boy" tactical shotgun on the bottom. The surviving "Witnesses" of the SCAF deep dig team dubbed it the Evangelizer and decorated them top to bottom with strange symbols.

Sony has announced early today that the game will be released November 20, 2012 instead of October 23, 2012.  They believe this will give them..."more time polishing and tuning the game", also they can get some good feedback from gamers such as yourself.

Now that it has been revealed that Josh Whedon will directing and writing the Avengers 2  movie, Marvel officials have announced that Avengers 2 is confirmed for 2015.  With this news, I believe it's safe to say that Whedon will also have some input on the other upcoming Marvel films such as, Thor: The Dark World on November 8, 2013, Captain America: The Winter Soldier on April 4, 2014 and Guardians of the Galaxy on August 1, 2014. The Avengers 2 will release in the summer of 2015. leading to the next epic Avenger's movie.  Since Iron Man 3 is already in filming I highly doubt that he will have input.

ULTIMATE MAN CAVE: $2 MILLION dollars for real-life Batcave

A million Batman fan plans to have a home cinema replica of Bruce Wayne's batcave built at a private home in Greenwich, Connecticut, USA.  The cave is being built by Canadian-based Elite Home Theatre Seating. It will includes batsuits, a batmoblie, 180 degree film screen, winged gargoyles, private cylindrical stainless steel elevator with glowing bat symbol, mock secret tunnel exit, bat computers, and race-car inspired home theater chairs.  Here are some CG pictures of the cave...

Ready for another "American Pie" Movie

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Universal has already secured a production deal to develop another "American Pie".  The title is unknown and there is no word if the entire cast would return.  With the success of "American Reunion", the writer-directors Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, who also helmed 2008’s Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay probably figured....why not.
